PIP, as the name suggests has been designed to provide convenient AC power and USB ‘fast-charging’ in its purest and simplest form.
PIP presents a single OE Electrics mains AC or USB charging socket (TUF) in a wide choice of decorative bezels, with style, colour and finish option to perfectly complement your interior design theme.
Designed specifically for panel mounting in furniture, PIP fits into a standard 60mm cable grommet opening and requires only 44mm depth. Integrated fixings enable quick installation in most surfaces from 0.9mm to 30mm thick, including panels with limited rear access.
PIP is supplied as a prewired unit with hardwired power cable to national mains plug or GST18 connector, ready for installation. Two or more PIP units can be interlinked to provide combinations of AC power and USB fast charging as is needed by the user.

Construction:
Body and back – Nylon Socket fascia – Polycarbonate Bezel – ABS with optional metal inlay
Integral Fixings:
Panel mount clips for surfaces 0.9mm – 3mm thick Screw clamps for surfaces 0.9mm – 30mm thick

Socket fascias – Black, Grey or White (UK AC & TUF only) Body and back mouldings – Black Bezel – Black, grey or white mouldings with optional satin or gloss painted finishes and decorative inlays
Earth Bonding:
PIP units with AC power sockets can be ordered with an optional external lead for earth bonding metal furniture.
Socket Fusing:
To enable compliance to BS6396 UK sockets are fitted with 5 x 20mm anti-surge ceramic fuses, with colour-coded fuse clips to denote the rating (3.15A/5A)
Power cord options:
PIP may be ordered: Hardwired power cord to AC plug, or Hardwired power cord to GST18-3, or Hardwired power cord to OE J coupler
Installation:
PIP can be installed into a pre-existing industry standard ø60mm cutout, or hole can be drilled into surfaces using an appropriate hole saw.

PIP has been designed and is manufactured to comply with applicable national/international safety and EMC standards for the country of intended use, utilising fully certified components.

Fitting Instructions
For Panels 1 – 3mm thick (for rear or side exit)
Fit PIP into cutout
Press firmly on PIP until you hear a click!
For Panels 1 – 15mm thick (for rear or side exit)
Place PIP into cutout at an angle as shown
Turn screw clamp up to required depth
Place bezel onto PIP
Turn bezel until click
For Panels 15 – 30mm thick (for rear exit only)
Place PIP into cutout
Turn screw clamp up to required depth
Place bezel onto PIP
Turn bezel until click
PIP is supplied as standard in white with a grey socket, but is available in a number of special paint finishes. Almost any colour can be applied* and then finished as standard in satin or gloss. Download the OE Colour Book here
