Power Box is the workhorse power solution in the OE product range. Tough and versatile the compact and strong extruded aluminium body can be configured with the full range of OE modular power and data/AV sockets and circuit protection devices. Ideal for under-desk and server room applications Power Box is BS5733 certified and is also ETL listed for use in North America.
Powerbox can be also be specified as a power distribution unit with MCBs, RCBOs, filters etc. in order to connect furniture to an underfloor 32A power track and distribute power to multiple furniture power modules.

All OE Electrics products are manufactured to enable compliance with BS6396 or BS7671 where relevant. UK sockets incorporate fuses as standard with colour coded insets indicating fuse rating. Unfused sockets may be specified where applicable.

POWERBOX apertures may be configured with the following AC power options from the OE modular range, our class leading OE TUFA+C25W:Twin USB Fast charger, switches, circuits breakers, RCD’s and one or more Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A data, USB, HDMI, VGA and sound connections.
Power: Up to 4 UK, European and International power sockets and/or OE TUFA+C25W:Twin USB Fast charger Data : Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a or Cat7 data connection options, with colour coded port identification. USB: USB2.0 or USB 3.0 type A for PC connection. For USB charging specify the OE TUFA+C25W:Twin USB Fast charger AV: VGA, HDMI, DVI-D and Display Port AV connection options.

To enable compliance to BS6396 UK sockets are fitted with 5 x 20mm anti-surge ceramic fuses, with colour-coded fuse clips to denote the rating (3.15A/5A). POWERBOX can also be ordered with unfused UK sockets for instance when power is fed from a floor power track and BS6396 does not apply.
A rewireable external earth terminal allows the removal/change of earth bonding leads without dismantling the unit.
Power cord options:
POWERBOX may be hardwired to: – mains AC plug, – Male Wieland GST18 connector for “soft wiring” e.g. connection to an under desk power modules or direct to a floor socket via a starter cable. Alternatively POWERBOX may be provided with the following power entry/exit options:
POWERBOX endcaps have screw ports for optional surface entry. A wide range of bespoke brackets are also available.

All POWERBOX units are manufactured using ISO9001 quality controlled components and practices and are 100% tested before dispatch:
- Visual: Configuration and appearance.
- Power sockets: Continuity, polarity, insulation & earth
- USB charger: Output voltage and resistance
- All sockets continuity tested with batch performance testing

All units built with UK and European socket types are CE marked by OE Electrics as complying with:

AC power socket: The fitted sockets will be certified to the appropriate national/international standard eg: BS1363/5733, IEC60884-1, CCC, AS/NZS3112. OE TUF 25W: Independently certified to IEC/UL 62368-1. Cable, connectors & mains plug: Independently certified to the appropriate national/international standard.
