OE Electrics and Covid-19

Dear Customers, Partners and Suppliers

As you are aware, COVID-19 has impacted all of us, in our homes, our work and our communities. In this time of uncertainty, OE Electrics want to keep our customers and suppliers updated on our ongoing activity in dealing with this unprecedented situation and share with you how we can still support you while also prioritising the wellbeing of our employees.

Our first priority is ensuring our employees are safe. We’ve enabled and enforced (based on latest Government request) all employees who can do so, to work from home. We are fortunate that many of our workforce can work remotely, and we’re using technology to continue with video/phone meetings and online team collaboration, supporting each other and our customers.

Our fantastic manufacturing teams, who are unable to work from home, are still working diligently to meet customer deadlines. We have put in place stringent distancing measures and are able to carry on building units for our customers. If this situation changes, eg. based on government edict, we will advise you accordingly.

We have, of course, stopped all non-essential visits to our HQ premises (OE House, Wakefield, UK), and our Germany office (Gummersbach). We have also closed our London Clerkenwell showroom. Our Account Managers are working remotely continuing to support your enquiries and business needs.

The situation surrounding COVID-19 changes daily. OE is committed to following government advice and guidelines. As a flexible and innovative company, we are well equipped and organised to cope with the ever-changing environment and know that if we all work together we will come through this unprecedented crisis stronger, and working together with you, we hope to support you and your customers, to do the same.

For OE Suppliers, please note we continue to accept deliveries and nothing is changing in that regard, but the Purchasing team will be in touch over the coming days regarding far horizon shipments.
